Short-Form Video Content Contest Entry Opened to All UNIST Members – Enter Now!
Short-Form Video Content Contest held by Public Relations Team at UNIST was announced on September 15th, 2021. All UNIST members are welcomed to enter the contest from September 15th to October 31st.
Short-Form Video Content topics can range from promoting and introducing departments, labs, student clubs, campus facilities at UNIST to showing a day in the life of a UNIST member. The content can contain any topics related to UNIST. The main objective of the contest is to give UNIST members an opportunity to show their creativity and to increase sense of belonging to UNIST.
To enter the contest, a UNIST member needs to create a short-form video content and upload it on social media channels (Instaram Reels and/or YouTube Shorts) as an individual or a group. Three hashtags (#UNIST, #유니스트, #유니스트 숏폼대회) must be included to the post. After the upload is completed, a copy of the uploaded video file and Entry Form need to be submitted to both emails: ‘news@unist.ac.kr’ and ‘unist.cia@unist.ac.kr’.
Submitted short-form video contents will be evaluated with three criteria: Quality, Creativity, and Popularity. Popularity of each submitted content will be calculated with accumulated ‘likes’ on the social media platform from the uploaded date until the day before the evaluation period starts (October 31st). The winners of the contest will receive prize as following:
- 1st place winner – KRW 500,000
- 2nd place winner – KRW 300,000
- 3rd place winner – KRW 200,000
- 4th place winner – KRW 100,000
After receiving all submission, Public Relations Team will start evaluation period, which starts on November 1st and ends on November 12th. The winners of the content will be announced after November 16th.
Following are notes to keep in mind:
- The schedule for content evaluation and the final winner announcement date may change due to various circumstances within the Public Relations Team.
- Selected number of prize winning contents may change due to evaluation result, which includes chances of not selecting any prize winning contents.
- The copyright of prize winning contents belongs to UNIST upon submission. Once submitted, contents can be utilized and edited for UNIST’s commercial and non-commercial use and promotion.
